THE STORY OF EVERY VISIT

A visit you can see.

Being away should not mean wondering what happened at home. A Lantern visit report gives you a clear record of what we observed, where we looked, and what needs your attention.

01

A report built around your property.

During your assessment, we take baseline photos, record your preferences, and agree on the areas and tasks included in each visit. This gives us a reference for future observations.

Your home may have several climate zones, a freezer in the garage, particular vendor arrangements, or an access sequence that needs care. We record the relevant details so the visit follows your property’s needs.

02

What your home watch report includes.

The report brings the practical information together in one record. Depending on your property’s agreed checklist and the information available for the visit, it can include:

  • A visit date and time record.
  • On-site location verification when available.
  • Photographs attached to relevant areas and observations.
  • Interior temperature, humidity, and agreed appliance readings.
  • Completed checks and areas needing attention.
  • Notes on authorized concierge tasks and any follow-up.
03

Clear observations, without guesswork.

We use plain language to describe what was visible at the visit. An observation should help you understand the condition, without turning a visual check into an unsupported diagnosis. A photograph gives that observation context.

For example, if we see water under an accessible sink, we document where it was seen and contact you about the next step. We do not present that observation as a plumber’s diagnosis. Similarly, a temperature reading is a record of the reading, not a certification of the air-conditioning system.

04

When something needs attention.

We contact you or your designated contact when an apparent condition warrants attention. Your assessment establishes communication preferences, preferred vendors, and the limits of the actions you authorize.

Where agreed, Lantern can coordinate vendor access or other next steps. Specialist work and vendor charges remain separate. The aim is a clear chain of observations and decisions, with you informed along the way.

05

Open your report wherever you are.

Your private homeowner portal brings visit history, photographs, readings, and concierge conversations together. You can open it on a phone, tablet, or computer. Homeowner access is arranged during onboarding.

This website’s sample report uses illustrative data and images. Actual client reports and photos remain in the private homeowner portal.
